This vineyard owned by Michel GENDRIER is located in the city of Cour-Cheverny close to the castles of Cheverny and Chambord. White and red wines are produced with Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny guaranteed vintage. The entire vineyard is cultivated in a biological and natural way since 2000. The wines are produced with the grapes Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Romorantin. This last grape has been brought in Loire Valley by the king François the First in the sixteenth’s century. It is the alone grape allowed in Cour-Cheverny guaranteed vintage. The wines made with Romorantin are well balanced, smooth and powerful.
